STEPHAN MATHYS
President
Stephan Mathys, FSA, is director of Customer Success for Montoux, an actuarial automation platform for insurance companies. His experience includes direct insurers, reinsurers, software companies, and independent consulting. He has written articles for SOA publications, presented at SOA meetings and webinars, and provided communication skills training for actuaries and other quantitative professionals. Stephan has been a member of the SLAC leadership team since 2021.
ALEX TRIPP
Vice President
Alex Tripp, FSA, CERA is an Assistant Vice President & Actuary at MetLife responsible for U.S. experience studies and assumption setting. Alex began her career at MetLife as an intern in 2012 and joined the student program in 2013 after graduating with a B.S. in Actuarial Science from Maryville University. Alex earned her FSA in 2017 and is an active volunteer for the Society of Actuaries as a Vice Chair of the Individual Life & Annuities track.
CASEY HUMPHREY
Treasurer
Casey Humphrey, FSA is a Director & Actuary for Modeling and ALM at MetLife, focusing on traditional life insurance products. His former roles include UK longevity reinsurance pricing and life valuation. Before joining MetLife, he worked in the consulting industry, working primarily on defined benefit retirement plans and pension risk transfers. Casey graduated with a B.S. in Actuarial Science from Maryville University in 2014 and earned his FSA in 2021.
KRISTEN KENNEY

Kristen Kenney, FSA, CERA, is an Associate Actuary at Reinsurance Group of America (RGA). Since joining RGA in 2017, Kristen has worked in Global Research & Data Analytics, Corporate Modeling, and most recently, Legal Entity Reporting. Prior to joining RGA, Kristen also worked for Willis Towers Watson as an Actuarial Analyst in the Risk Consulting & Software Property & Casualty division. Kristen graduated from Maryville University in 2015 with a B.S. in Actuarial Science. Kristen earned her CERA in 2021 and her FSA in 2023.
